Peter Adams is a much sought after photographer, sculptor and educator now living and working in the Blue Mountains. He has had solo exhibitions in the USA, Australia, UK, New Zealand and the Philippines and his work is featured in many local and international collections.
In 1983 Adams commenced working on a series of portraits and interviews with famous photographers around the world. This massive project, entitled ‘Who Shot That?’, now numbers around 500 portraits. Excerpts of this project appear on a regular basis in Better Photography magazine and a small selection of these portraits are available in his book of the same name.
A second book of Blue Mountains Nudes, entitled ‘Under the Skin’, is also available.
Adams has won numerous award including the Internatonal Hasselblad Masters (twice), has been voted Professional Photographer of the Year by the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers and has been accepted into the Sculpture By the Sea exhibition (twice).
