Sahasrara - Crown Chakra

As an artist I have completed several series of works based on mandalas as well as several painted works inspired by images from dreams. I have exhibited in Australia and Europe and my work has been published in magazines in the US and Australia. I have 3 lines of greeting cards availabale that are distributed nationally around Australia and I have also created many personalised works and welcome commissions.

I began painting and drawing some years ago after much travel, exposure to different cultures and spiritual beliefs and a reawakening to nature.

The subject matter and themes of my works are influenced and based on a strong connection to the earth – to the natural elements, and an exploration into the conscious and subconscious worlds via dreams and meditation. The naive, childlike style expresses a simple and peaceful connection to the earth – where figures and animals merge and blend into a gentle landscape whilst maintaining a deeper undercurrent of spirit and a sense of worlds hidden.

A large selection of my work is currently being exhibited at the ‘Niche Nosh Cafe’ in Katoomba Street, Katoomba until the end of September 2007.
