While equally at home with oils, Ingrid spent a number of years creating landscapes and Australian native florals in acrylics. Her vibrant, colourful and textural florals saw her win the people’s choice award at the 2007 Friends of Braemar exhibition in Springwood. She had her work published in the Australian Artist Magazine in 2006. Ingrid was also a finalist in the Blacktown Art Prize in 2004 and 2006,2007 and 2008. More recently, however, Ingrid has been painting imaginative, semi-abstract and abstract works in acrylics. Using a purely intuitive approach, her works emerge from the canvas with vibrant colours. Ingrid was commended in 2009 Blacktown City Art Exhibition. Her work is represented in private collections in Australia and Europe. She is happy to accept commissions and her gallery may be viewed by appointment.
