M.A. (Margaret-Anne) fell in love with making ceramics while studying Commerce Marketing at UNSW in the late 1970s. A very part-time self taught potter for 30 years, retirement and moving to the Blue Mountains has seen her achieve her life long dream of opening a ceramic studio in Faulconbridge NSW called MALA Pots. M.A. makes porcelain and stoneware vessels with intricate drawings and etchings. 2014 sees her expanding her skills to include sculpting with the creation of her first ceramic torsos and new ceramic inspiration and dimensions.
