I was deeply involved in the textiles arts for many years before undertaking the exhilarating experience of an undergraduate degree in contemporary fine art at the University of Western Sydney. This gave me some solid grounding in theory and art history and an opportunity to locate myself as a practising artist within a wide variety of mediums. I love colour, texture, form and pattern. I love to experiment with all of these using lots of different processes and then combining the ones that work best at any given moment. Mostly these evolve into artists books of some kind or another. Having recently acquired a large etching press, I am currently fascinated by the many possibilites of printmaking
